No, it should work on any Android. Are you getting a blank screen? Try going to Settings -> Apps -> CalendarBudget -> Storage and click both buttons to clear cache and clear data. Then try the app again.

You can also swipe to the left to see a quick delete.Eric PoulinKeymasterFebruary 21, 2019 at 12:29 pmPost count: 379in reply to: Monthly Categories #4163We haven't considered it before. At the moment, we don't have plans to do that, sorry.

Eric PoulinKeymasterFebruary 4, 2019 at 12:13 pmPost count: 379Have you watched the short tutorial on Bank reconciling?
https://youtu.be/Jk5s1RkBQrs
The idea is your imported transactions get dragged on to the calendar where you already have your future plans. Rather than simply dragging them on to the calendar, if you drag them onto an existing entry it will update that entry. This will prevent a duplication and rather will simply update any transactions that you had as part of your plan. Dragging Bank import entries onto an existing entry will update both the date and the amount of the entry with what actually happened in your bank account.Eric PoulinKeymasterJanuary 15, 2019 at 4:17 pmPost count: 379As part of the redesign of the transaction edit screen, this will be addressed. Hoping to have that ready within a week.
Eric PoulinKeymasterJanuary 12, 2019 at 11:05 pmPost count: 379in reply to: Reconciliation Problem #4152Yeah, the notifications from this forum platform are not awesome so sometimes I miss posts. We're going to be migrating to a different support form in the coming months. Definitely if you see this happening again let me know, and certainly it will be helpful to get a copy of the file that is causing this problem.
Eric PoulinKeymasterJanuary 4, 2019 at 5:12 amPost count: 379in reply to: New category budgets for 2019 #4155Category budgets have the concept of a default budget and a specific months override. If you change the default budget that will become the new default for any months that doesn't have an override both past present and future. However if you want to set a specific override for any given month you can do that in the category setup while on the months you want to set the specific budget for.
Eric PoulinKeymasterJanuary 4, 2019 at 5:11 amPost count: 379in reply to: Reconciliation Problem #4150That is odd indeed. Sometimes items are posted as pending and therefore not actually part of the account history yet. That could be the case here, but if you'd like me to have a look at it, please email the bank file to me at epoulin@calendarbudget.com and specify which entry you should be seeing but are not.
Eric PoulinKeymasterJanuary 4, 2019 at 5:07 amPost count: 379in reply to: Android App – Split Transactions? #4154Thanks, at the moment split transactions is not there but Our intention is to add all of the features available in the browser to the mobile app overtime. Split transactions will be coming very soon as a swipe option on the transactions below the calendar.
Eric PoulinKeymasterJanuary 4, 2019 at 5:06 amPost count: 379Thanks for reporting this. I have heard from others that the date picker on iOS closes after each mini selection. For example when you choose the date it closes before you have a chance to change the months or the year. I am about to investigate this further, just finishing up a few other changes… and waiting for Apple to approve the app update in the app store again.
Eric PoulinKeymasterOctober 22, 2018 at 4:59 pmPost count: 379in reply to: Sorting Entries #4149We don't want to overcomplicate things by adding field that only 1% of users will use but clutter up the UI. Having said that, we had been thinking about when using the category highlighter, all highlighted categories would appear at the top of the list (still in alphabetical order). Another possibility is to sort by amount. We could introduce this in a setting somewhere that has a good default, but can be adjusted… that way we don't clutter the UI.
Eric PoulinKeymasterOctober 13, 2018 at 2:55 amPost count: 379in reply to: Sinking fund tracking #4148Sounds like you want to use our category budgets.

But, you want them to be able to span more than a calendar month like they currently do. We are planning an upgrade to our main browser tool early 2019 which will include performance enhancements along with many new features such as a major upgrade of categories, including the ability to have category budget's carry forward (envelope budgeting).Eric PoulinKeymasterOctober 12, 2018 at 3:53 amPost count: 379in reply to: Split entries and reconciling #4145It is.
We've been entirely focused on the mobile app recently, but as soon as that is done a MAJOR rewrite of the browser version is queued up to improve performance and add a bunch of new features such as this. We anticipate getting started with that in Jan, possibly earlier. -
