KeymasterApril 15, 2009 at 1:08 pmPost count: 381in reply to: Marking actual vs planned (consolidation) #3578Bank Import/Consolidation assistant is finally ready for use.
Its the last tab on the category sidebar.
Import your OFX file from your online banking (usually exports marked as Quicken, MS Money are OFX also), then drag the entries from your file to your calendar.
If you drag to a blank spot or cell header you are creating a new entry.
If you drop the bank import item on an existing item you are moving/updating the amount of that item to the actual amount that happened.Feel free to comment on usage.

KeymasterApril 14, 2009 at 4:27 pmPost count: 381in reply to: Size of Edit Entry box #3754What is the resolution of your 9-inch screen?
Are you down to 800×480?
If so, do you know how much vertical pixel space your browser has for web pages (after excluding the browser menus and junk at the top)?Eric Poulin
KeymasterApril 11, 2009 at 11:18 pmPost count: 381in reply to: Size of Edit Entry box #3752I’m sure I can fix this.
I can have the dialog re-center itself when you click the repeat checkbox. This should resolve your problem.
Unless… the top and bottom would be off-screen in which case scrolling may be the only (undesireable) option.
Let me try the re-centering thing – should have it ready by Monday at the lastest – I’ll publish it along with the Consolidation Assistant.Eric Poulin

KeymasterMarch 7, 2009 at 7:00 pmPost count: 381in reply to: Temporary Bug ? #3747I’m looking into your problem. We haven’t seen this issue on any of our test machines.
What browser (and version number) and screen resolution are you using? I’m thinking you are using IE7.
What stuff on the right is squished together? Is it squished vertically or horizontally?
A screen shot would be helpful. You can append a screenshot using the additional options while composing a note here… or email me the screen shot @ epoulin@calendarbudget.com.I know your email address is very long, which would force the “Tell A Friend” link off screen, but otherwise things should be ok.
Do you have the same problem in Firefox or Chrome browsers?
Best setting for text size is “Normal” for CalendarBudget.

KeymasterMarch 1, 2009 at 7:59 pmPost count: 381in reply to: Temporary Bug ? #3744You mean, when you try to use the search, you don’t get the message “Search coming soon!”?
It is still coming soon, according to our development plan will be done this coming week. You may be the only one with this end of Feb problem – probably because you may be the only one with that many transactions in 1 day. However, the problem is systemwide, not just you. I’ll ensure to get that fixed on Monday (tomorrow).

KeymasterFebruary 28, 2009 at 7:44 pmPost count: 381in reply to: Display problem with Many Transactions in One Day #3727Hmm. The behavior is supposed to be, the cell expands and bottom aligns with the bottom of the calendar and expands upward.
I’ll look into it.Eric Poulin
KeymasterFebruary 27, 2009 at 9:37 amPost count: 381in reply to: Nitpick about entering dollar amounts #3737Lucas, thanks for your note.
I’m not sure I follow.
Currently (as has been this way for a long while) if you tab or click into the amount box, the amount does get highlighted, allowing you to simply type over it.
What exactly happens when you tab into the amount box?Any other nit-picks? I’m taking them all currently :)

KeymasterFebruary 24, 2009 at 7:23 amPost count: 381in reply to: Temporary Bug ? #3741I’ve noticed when upgrades are made some people have to clear their cache to see the upgrades properly, sometimes, the whole web app fails to load properly.
To address this, I’ve inserted some cache busting code so after upgrades are made, your browser will automatically pull down the latest version of the file rather than your older cached version.
This fix will be available later this week – by the end of Feb. -
