KeymasterApril 11, 2010 at 2:47 pmPost count: 381in reply to: pay an additional #3857CalendarBudget does not support bill paying. At the moment, CalendarBudget does not interact with your real bank information at all. We are considering account-aggregation services that will automatically download your online accounts for you. I’d love some feedback if this account aggregation service is something you’d want.
Because of the charges for this service on our end, we’d have to increase the price slightly – perhaps a Platinum membership that costs maybe $2 extra/month.. but for many it will be totally worth it!Eric Poulin
KeymasterApril 9, 2010 at 6:34 pmPost count: 381in reply to: iPhone App? #3777Will do. When I create the mobile version, I’ll first create a generic one that should work on any mobile browser – then a “specialize” iphone version.
At the moment – I’m planning to start working on that around beginning to mid May. I’m excited to work on it – cause its going to be AWESOME!Eric Poulin

Regarding the extra entry in the calendar that’s throwing off the reconciling… I’ll give that some though. I find that a little annoying personally too.

We did make a change (part 1 of several parts) recently which should improve the overall experience. Looks like this is something we missed.Eric Poulin

Regarding the category highlight and items that are off screen because of a lot of items on one day… we thought about that and don’t think there a good solution to it for the moment. We had considered forcing entries that are highlighted to the top – but if everything is highlighted, there is still a problem. You have to watch for the “more” indicator on days to see if there are more entries. If there’s a more indicator it only takes a moment to mouseover and see whats there.
If you have different ideas on how to solve the highlight problem when there are lots of entries, we’d love to hear your thoughts!Eric Poulin
KeymasterFebruary 26, 2010 at 2:05 pmPost count: 381in reply to: restore feature #3845We have in our plans to have a “what if” scenario, which would make a copy of an account for you to experiment with for things like what you are describing. Unfortunately we’re a ways away from that with a bunch of other features to be completed before that. However, we love the idea and it is definitely in our plans.

KeymasterFebruary 17, 2010 at 11:03 amPost count: 381in reply to: Bank reconciling #3842We don’t allow split transactions (at the moment). Thats on our to do list. For now, You can add it as a single entry, then go back and create another entry on the same day and adjust the amount.

KeymasterFebruary 16, 2010 at 6:53 pmPost count: 381in reply to: iPhone App? #3775We actually have plans to do both an iPhone app – completely online based first, and then an offline version that, as you say, will sync with the server when you get back online. The iPhone app is planned to be available by summer time… offline will be a while after that.
At the moment, we have no plans to increase our prices for any service, except perhaps when we introduce automatic bank downloads later this year, which would be another membership plan – super-premium or something like that.Eric Poulin

KeymasterFebruary 16, 2010 at 5:23 amPost count: 381in reply to: Bank reconciling #3840I’m not personally familiar with BofA’s online banking options. Usually exporting your transactions to OFX/QFX is included with any online banking. You might give them a quick call to see if there’s a way to get those exports with what you have now.
We are actually planning to add the option (for Premium members) to automatically link to your bank account and have CalendarBudget automatically updated. At the moment, we are planning this for late summer 2010 [fingers crossed].

This fix will be part of that cycle – we’re aiming for Friday to have it up with some infrastructure changes.

KeymasterJanuary 22, 2010 at 9:10 amPost count: 381in reply to: Inability to Access "Account Setup (Premium)" #3759We’ve adjusted this fairly recently… You can now change the name of your accounts, reset accounts, etc. To change your default account, you’ll need to either subscribe to premium or contact support who can make the change for you.
