I watch for sales and love to buy bulk when I think the sale is good enough. It becomes difficult to buy bulk for certain products that are non-perishables (expire quickly). Products like milk, eggs, and cheese. My husband directed me to this link (I Can Freeze That?) for a way to store these products longer.
Here are some other useful links about freezing food:

One further thing I suggest when freezing foods – label them clearly with a name, ingredients (helps you avoid allergies, spicy food kids can’t eat, I avoid anything with sugar for my mom), date made, date frozen, anything else that will help you identify what it is or be able to make that again (if you’re like me and just throw ingredients together without using a real recipe all the time).
Do you have any clever ideas for making food last longer?
