I noticed it this week in a couple of repeating transactions. Even though almost all of them are repeating, I can’t figure out why some are showing with the red arrow instead of white.

The red arrow in CalendarBudget signifies a potential issue with a transaction, often indicating that the transaction is repeating or has an error that needs attention. This visual cue helps users quickly identify transactions that may require further investigation or correction.
For instance, if a user sees a red arrow next to a repeating transaction, it may suggest that the transaction's details have changed or that there is a discrepancy in the budgeting process. Understanding this indicator can lead to more accurate financial tracking and management.
Repeating transactions can sometimes display unexpected symbols, such as the red arrow, due to various reasons including incorrect settings or data entry errors. Identifying these common issues can help users troubleshoot their budgeting effectively.
Some frequent problems include mismatched dates, incorrect amounts, or changes in frequency settings. By addressing these factors, users can ensure their repeating transactions function smoothly, maintaining the integrity of their financial records.
To resolve the red arrow issue, users should first review the details of the affected repeating transactions to identify any discrepancies. This process involves checking the transaction settings and ensuring they align with the user's budgeting goals.
Additionally, users may need to edit or delete problematic transactions and re-enter them with the correct details. This proactive approach not only fixes the immediate issue but also enhances overall budgeting accuracy and confidence in the software.
