Not sure of the accounting term for this simple formula :) But, I would love to have it integrated into one of the tabs.
Use case 1: If I budget for $1000 income but then my spending budgets total $2000, I’d like to see the red amount of ($1000) for how much I’ve estimated overspending.

The income minus budgets formula is a fundamental budgeting tool that helps users assess their financial health. By calculating the difference between income and expenditures, users can identify whether they are overspending or staying within their budget.
This formula not only highlights the current financial status but also serves as a proactive measure for future budgeting. For example, if a user's total income is $3,000 and their expenses are $3,500, the formula reveals a negative balance of -$500, indicating a need for budget adjustments.
Tracking overspending is crucial for maintaining financial stability and achieving budgeting goals. By monitoring where funds are being misallocated, users can make informed decisions to curb unnecessary expenses and enhance their saving strategies.
For instance, utilizing a budgeting tool that visually represents overspending can motivate users to adjust their spending habits. Features like alerts or graphs can provide insights into spending patterns, helping users to stay on track financially.
CalendarBudget offers various features that can be integrated to enhance user experience and financial management. By incorporating specific formulas, such as income minus budgets, users can have a clearer understanding of their financial situation directly within the platform.
Additionally, the integration of customizable alerts for overspending and budget tracking can further empower users to take control of their finances. This functionality not only simplifies budgeting but also encourages proactive financial planning.
Users often have specific requests for features that would enhance their budgeting experience. Common requests include the ability to integrate various formulas, set spending limits, and receive notifications when nearing budget thresholds.
