What we hope to accomplish with our budget is to spread out payments like car registration, liquid propane or yearly insurance. If we budget a little each month, then it will be there when we need it. I would like to see the budget amounts roll over each month if not spent. So, if we were allocating $20 per month to car registration and could see it roll over each month, it would help us see what amount we have put away. When the registration comes due, we could see that we have $240 saved to cover that expense, like an envelope.
