A view like that is on our to-do list but isn’t a high priority at the moment. But you should be able to expect that before the end of the year. As you mentioned, the mobile app has that sort of you already.

    Hi Kalence,

Thanks for your email. This is a known problem that we are working towards a permanent fix. For now, there’s a quick fix for this that you can use by following this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TI8zM1SF2w.
You shold only need to do this once per account.

    Happy Budgeting!

We are looking to improve this further, but for now, we have two methods to see the end of a repeating series. (on the browser version of the app)
    1) The repeating indicator icon turns red when it’s the last transaction in the repeating series.
    2) The 2nd tab in the sidebar will have a red number on it and the very top of that 2nd sidebar tab will show the transaction that is ending.

Yes, go into your membership details and you can change your email address there. In the app that’s in the main menu.

Yes, there is a problem with the iOS update. We realized this just hours after it was released, created a fix, and resubmitted it to the iOS app store. However, Apple has decided to reject our update, and we are in the process of appealing Apple’s decision. The update you need is ready to go, but they won’t allow it to be released :-(. Sometimes working with Apple makes my blood boil, but we are trying to get it out to you as quickly as possible.

We could do this. Other than a total of income and expenses, what would be useful in a summary?

Interesting idea. You’re the first to ask about such a capability. We will add it to our development brainstorming list.

Hi – I think we caught up with each other in a support ticket. Here was my response there:

Good question – there is no way to hide categories you no longer want to use. If you try to delete a category that was used for any transaction, you’ll be prompted to reassign those transactions to a new category. Yes, you’d lose the history, but how often do you go back and check historically. If you have a new categorization strategy, the reassignment will probably work well in case you want to look back and compare to your new plan.

Now that’s it’s there and I’m using it, I think I also want to make the mark as complete clickable with left-mouse, rather than always requiring to right-click. I could change the cursor slightly to indicate there is a difference.
    Thoughts?

Good call on the empty circle, I missed that. We’ll do that. We tried a space, but on days where nothing is marked as complete, it just looks like an error.
As for the note being prepended to the amount, we tried a number of scenarios. While you’re right that semantically it makes more sense with the title, the usability experience is awful that way. When the title of the transaction is longer than the available space for the day cell, the notes icon would then be hidden. Even if you have the auto-expand on mouseover turned on, you still don’t know there’s a not there until you mouseover.
Also since the lengths of transactions vary wildly, it not an ideal user experience to need to move the mouse from left to right so much to find the notes icon at the end of the title.
With the note in a much less variable position, prepended to the amount, it’s much easier to see and use at a glance.

If you’re importing a QFX file, it could be that the QFX file has multiple accounts and the first account has nothing in it. Check the dropdown at the top left and try selecting a different account to see the transactions from the account you want.

Hi Randy, I’m sorry you don’t like the updated UI. Most others love it.
The balance projection graph can be disabled in Account Setup.

Yes, you can switch to regular log anytime. We set a default password when you first login using Facebook and we use your primary Facebook email as your username. To receive your password, go to the login page and select the “Forgot Password” link. Enter your email and your password will be emailed to you.
To change the password to something you’ll remember, first login using Facebook, then use the toolbar to click on the right-most menu and select Membership Details.
Then click the “Change Password” button.
