Wow, I just saw a new program my bank is offering, and the idea is great. It saves and grows your money, just like the CalendarBudget personal finance app.

This program lets you automatically round up debit card purchases to the nearest $1 or $5 increment, and the difference from your transaction goes directly into your savings account. So, you automatically save every time you purchase. You only save a bit at a time, but it can add up to hundreds of dollars every year;, cents that you’ll barely notice, but will help you build an emergency fund or save for whatever. The idea was great, I could hardly believe a bank implemented it.
