When it works, it tends to naturally turn into a lower-cost event. For instance, walking down to the boardwalk on a beautiful Friday summer evening with a friend is a painless way for me to be more active... and although we may stop for ice cream along the way, that's still a lot cheaper than going out for dinner with the same friend.
