Eric Poulin is co-founder of CalendarBudget, along with Robin Poulin, his wife. Together they devised CalendarBudget to solve their personal money tracking and budgeting needs after all of the existing tools were found to suck. Eventually, Eric made CalendarBudget available for the public and left the IBM Software Lab in Toronto to work on CalendarBudget full-time.

As a web developer he also does some free-lance web development. Email epoulin@yahoo.com if you have some questions.

Eric works from home - usually late hours, often working until 4:00am, which makes for an interesting experience when early morning meetings are needed. Generally, sleeping in until 10:00am and working late hours makes for a productive, peaceful and quiet time to work. During the day, 5 noisy children make concentration in a modest home difficult.

Eric also fancies himself a ninja, feigning training in Japan to fool his children into obedience.

Eric enjoys studying high level physics in order to understand the world which houses him.

Eric gives many hours/week in service to his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in the form of computer service, organization, ecclesiastical service, and most especially working with youth.

Eric is a registered Scout Leader.

Eric plans to one day rule the world and is working towards this end by gaining the trust of as many people as possible. This goal is tertiary to being a good father and husband, so it often falls to the wayside. World domination is always looked at as a bad thing, but Eric thinks it is a good thing, so long as he is the ruler… otherwise its a very bad thing.
